Malayalam films technicians’ union secretary opened some talks about the cold war between the technicians union MCTU and actors union AMMA.

Director Vinayan the secretary of MCTU reported, while the election for the MCTU union is to be conducted soon, Mammootty is planning to smash the union of MCTU: most of them among more than four thousands in the MCTU are jobless at present and in this situation no one is cooperating with MCTU for they are dominated under the control of Actors Union, this only shows the Malayalam cine field is under the control of Supper Stars, and as they are being the decision makers of selecting cast and technicians many technicians or jobless.

Regarding this issue petition has been given to the Chief Minister and workers and cultural department, and further in order to employ the technicians the MCTU will produce films with new faces, said Vinayan.
