The first African American to be elected President of the United States was born on 4 august 1961, he was continuing as junior United States Senator from Illinois from January 3, 2005, until his resignation on November 16, 2008 after which he followed the election for the President, sworn in as the 44th President of United States on 20 January 2009 in an inaugural ceremony at U.S Capitol.
